About Holiday Home Camp: Since 1887, Holiday Home Camp has changed the lives of over 50,000 underserved youth from from Chicago, Milwaukee, Rockford, Madison, Kenosha, and other Southeastern Wisconsin cities. Holiday Home Camp is the oldest camp in the nation still operating in it's original location and our mission has remained the same for 139 years. 

Holiday Home Camp provides campers from low-income households a nurturing respite from limiting and difficult home situations triggered by poverty and violence. A positive, healthy and safe recreational camp experience is given to these children who otherwise would not be able to afford it. Holiday Home Camp leverages typical camp activities into learning opportunities that are infused with outcome-based exercises and challenges designed to develop the life skills of responsibility, accountability, trust, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, problem solving and goal setting. While participating in these camp activities campers gain confidence, responsibility, communication skills, positive sportsmanship and respect for self, others and their environment.

In 2026 we provided an unforgettable experience and lifelong memories for over 600 deserving children and teens! Your attendance at this event makes camp possible for our children!
