Since 1887, the Holiday Home Camp program has changed the lives of 47,000 disadvantaged youth from largely the Chicago metropolitan area and Southeastern Wisconsin. On the banks of Geneva Lake, the values of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships are instilled as the framework for happiness, success and self-improvement.

In 2024 we will serve over 800 children and teens over a seven week period. Over 99% of children served come from low-income households.

Holiday Home Camp provides campers from low-income households a nurturing respite from limiting and difficult home situations triggered by poverty and violence. A positive, healthy and safe recreational camp experience is given to these children who otherwise would not be able to afford it. Holiday Home Camp leverages typical camp activities into learning opportunities that are infused with outcome-based exercises and challenges designed to develop the life skills of responsibility, accountability, trust, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, problem solving and goal setting. While participating in these camp activities campers gain confidence, responsibility, communication skills, positive sportsmanship and respect for self, others and their environment.
